LOG - 1st day Westward
Kathy, Nancy, and Neal left from Pilgrim lot at 7:50AM Pastor Ted provided a send off. It was a beautiful day for traveling and all went well through Wisconsin and Minnesota, and almost half way through South Dakota. Well except for a slight miscue getting back on I90 from the information center at Chamberlain which took us back East 7 miles. Oops :), but the rest of them waited for us at the Days Inn in Oacoma and we went out for supper. Was a long day of driving putting on about 610 miles. David, Mary and Jean hit the road by 7:30am and came in about 30 minutes ahead of us. Bud, Carol, and Hilda made the trip from Illinois and came in about the same time as Dave and company. Many good sites along the way - tired now. Neal
