Wednesday
Today started out partly sunny and the rain held off once again while the work crew did the majority of their work. They were blessed with the assistance of the equipment from another school in the area and the maintenance worker at OLL, Boyd, did the excavating. That really made a big difference in the time that it would have taken to move gravel and dirt by hand. They did what they could today to prepare the area until the rain moved in. The hope for tomorrow is to be able to complete the slides.
The boards for the fence are now all completely painted thanks to Mary and David.
The computer group had several people come in for tutoring today. We were also treated to elk steaks for lunch that was provided by Elaine, the new director at the college extension. They were very good and again it was great to share a meal with the folks there.
We all met at OLL, after the work day was over, for supper. We had been invited to a sweat lodge in the evening, however, because it was raining the sweat lodge was not held. We were able to spend some time conversing though so it was good. Dave and Mary needed to head back for home tonight so we had to say good bye to them after we ate and talked.
Nancy provided us with some wonderful devotions tonight that were very helpful to us.
