Fond du Lac to Oacoma, SD (Chamberlain)
LOG - 1st day Westward
Our trip out was uneventful except for the Roders, Ben
was not feeling well so they are spending the first night in the
LaCrosse area. Hope he feels better in the morning. Came across some
road construction on I90 in LaCrosse and again just East of
Chamberlin. They were small stretches where it went to one lane in
each direction. Bob and Judy spent last night in Rochester so they
were first to arrive, Bud and Carol arrived in Oacoma ahead of Nancy,
Ellen and Neal who got in right at 6 PM, David, Mary and Ruth arrived
about half hour after. Supper was at the Derby again this
year.
Everyone was feeling tired - we decided they stretched out
the roads and it was in fact a longer trip this year :)
