LOG - Day 5
Neal and Ellen were able to leave this morning to pick up their van and head back to WI.
Ruth was scheduled to teach an art project this morning in Manderson. David went to the hospital to work again today. Bud was going to stop at the college and make copies of the sign in sheets so he could leave the originals with Karen White Butterfly. The rest of the crew were going to see about helping pack library books until Ruth was done with her project. The rest of the day was going to be spent sight-seeing/shopping and cleaning the Re-Member center .They need to leave the center by 9:00 am tomorrow.
Neal and Ellen were pleasantly surprised when they picked up the van to find that the cost they had to pay for the transmission and the rental vehicle was $0.00. It was all under warranty yet and GM picked up the tab. Hurrah! They hoped to make it to LaCrosse and spend the night there before traveling the rest of the way to Green Lake for the Wisconsin Conference meeting. Instead they had to drive to Mauston to find a room, at least we are closer to Green Lake this way.
