Pine Ridge
The playground team finished what they could at the playground. The rest of the concrete was poured and gravel redistributed. The part didn't come while they were there and was still en route so they will put that on tomorrow on the way out of town. They were done by 10:30 so they could go sight seeing the rest of the day.
Each of us went to different sights. It was fun to be at some of these different places and all of a sudden see someone else from the group. Some of the sights seen were Mount Rushmore, the Crazy Horse monument, the Bad Lands, Hot Springs, and Kyle. I know that on our journey, Neal and I saw the deer and the antelope play as well as prairie dogs, turkeys, eagles, and buffalo.
The medical team worked today. The regular staff had meetings this morning so our team saw patients to keep things going for them. It was a lighter day as far as patients went so it was a nice pace.
Some of us went to the Pow Wow this evening. It was a little more informal tonight as it was family night. It was fun to watch the little children in their full dress doing their dances.
